I have two separate policies through Benson -- auto and renter's insurance. I needed to cancel my renter's policy, and Benson was unresponsive for weeks, via both telephone and the contact form on their website. I had to reach out to Traveler's directly and have them handle the cancelation. This is not the experience I'm looking for when using an insurance agent.

I paid my payment 2 days early. I got charged 20$ and I also got charged $7 . There are hidden charges when You pay online $7. Your payment will show the amount owed but not the $7 so Your policy will then be charged $20 if You catch it before the policy lapses. I called to speak to someone and was treated horribly. So I cancelled my policy that was after I paid the amount owed. He said I would get reimbursed. When I looked at what was owed I got double charged plus the $7 and the $20. We were with Benson Insurance for two years. We only left because we had a huge savings with another company. However, we will likely return. I will absolutely keep them in mind when I review my policies. Sydney was wonderful to work with; she is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Emailed so i could hopefully talk with someone about starting with them. Got an email bavk saying they would contact me. Still have yet to contact me. It's been like 2 weeks.

This company is connected to 15 insurance companies. They can compare rates and find you the best deal. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
