Insurance coverage through Chastain & Associates was by far the worst experience we have ever encountered. Initially we were happy to be saving money until it came time for the end of the year audit. Long story short, their business model is give you a policy at such a good deal you can't deny it, but then charge you through the roof on the back end of the audit. Very, very disappointed with this local company. My wife and I have had Travelers Insurance for our primary residence through Chastain & Associates for 17 years with no claims. We recently received a letter from Travelers stating that our policy would not be renewed because we didn’t respond to their update requests in time. This came as a complete shock to us. Initially left a voice mail for Trey which was quickly returned. He worked with us to get all of the information that the underwriter needed which resulted in a much better coverage for our non-profit entity at a lower price than we had been quoted with our existing carrier.

We approached this company to explore options for auto, homeowners, and commercial liability coverage. Unfortunately, their service was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. Rather than having a conversation to understand our situation, they jumped to false assumptions about why we were switching insurers and never even provided us with a proper quote.
