This is the worst agency I've ever dealt with! 1. They can't write new policies anymore because they got dropped by insurance carriers for writing crappy policies. 2. They waited until less than two weeks before my policy expiration date to send me an email saying that they can't write anymore policies. Leaving me scrambling to find a new one ASAP. 3. Customer service is none excitant. They are completely clueless and useless.
My representative is Fred Dabiri who is fantastic. Not only is he timely with responses, but his services are immaculate. He always takes the time to response to any questions I have and update my account as needed. Independent Group Agency has constantly found ways for me to save money - and have always provided DISCOUNTS. After having insurance for only 6 months, I received a letter telling me they lowered my insurance $450 dollars for the following 6 months - for me that equated to dropping my payment $75.00 per month! Fred did an amazing job helping me out and getting the most discounts to lower my insurance rate. He also would respond to emails and phone calls fast. Definitely recommend him!
No customer service, not helpful. Referred to them by Progressive Insurance. Not sure why Progressive is partnering with this type of company when Progressive's customer service is great. Stay away, it's obvious by this company's review score, that they are not good.
Unhelpful and disrespectful. He was supposed to call me last week according to her assistant Cristina. He didn’t and when I called 7 days later, even Cristina was surprised that he hadn’t called me. I wanted to cancel before Mercury bills me but he didn’t bother himself to let me know on a timely matter. I don’t get how people like him stay in business this long. Maybe by colliding with corrupted body shops and screwing over customers and insurance fraud?
