Had a horrible experience with Deanne. An insured customer of hers backed into me and did damage to my car. Video and police evidence clearly showed I was not at fault. Spent 5 days trying to reach Deanne and when I did talk to her she was full of excuses about being “too busy” to talk. Last conversation we had, she claimed to have reviewd the police report and claimed to have spoken to the responding officer both which are not true. Had a claim denied with this agency. Even though the evidence was over overwhelmingly in my favor. Deanne the agent was unresponsive and RUDE. I wonder how many other people have been unjustly denied by this Deanne.

I was working through how to manage the insurance policies of my father as he passed away earlier this year. While trying to understand the process the agent cut me off and said, "I'll need to talk to Erie Insurance." and hung up on me. The policy was ending due to my father's passing, and instead of being helpful during the process, I was treated rudely. It was a very inappropriate manner to manage the situation, and I will highly recommend against their services moving forward.

I have worked with Don at Northwestern Ins for about 6 years now--ever since I got my first auto insurance policy at 18. He is awesome to work with and so helpful. He always shows me all the options and makes sure I know all the details before making my choice, and if I ever have questions he explains things in detail in a way that I can understand. Been with Erie insurance for almost 10 yrs but the agent I got made me almost switch to a different insurance company. Unresponsive, rude if you do get a hold of the agent. If you have questions or concerns and want to feel good about your insurance company. Maybe go somewhere else. There are bigger companies that treat their clients nicer.but maybe it was just the agent I had.
