It’s no longer Yonkondy Insurance Agency. Over the last few years, as the business quietly changed ownership, I noticed the excessive rise in premiums. Last year nearly 25% and this year about a 35% increase without cause or explanation! So after being a customer to this branch in good standing for 37 years, I called to cancel. I found much better coverage elsewhere and saved nearly $700.
Never had an annual policy review call. If we had a policy review call, we probably would have learned well before a water main break that we didn’t have the coverage. Agent treated assumed we wouldn’t be interested in a price lock. Wrong assumption. Fired this agency and got a nasty letter from the agent in the mail blaming us.
Been with them for 20+ years….always responsive when we need them and very easy to work with.
