AVOID THIS PLACE- Owner Gene sold me a policy and when I called him with a question he said- "I don't understand insurances or deal with customers" and passed me off to his office staff. The entire place just has an edge to it like YOU are a problem. Rude, dismissive, entitled. I left this miserable agency and they took the cancelation request from my new agent and basically threw it in the trash and now I am dealing with a collections agency. Gene Ziemba is a great guy and the staff is fantastic. We’re insured with Erie who has great products and pricing. Given the client relationship we have and the experience with the company I’m sure we’ll never shop for another agent. These guys are true professionals and great people.
Quoted 440 for homeowner, day of close it went up to 950. No explanation. We closed. We called ziemba. Got EVERY excuse in the book why he couldn't give us the price we were quoted until he said oh your credit must have dropped considerably, oh it's tough to know the insurance industry score, oh I don't know I can only get a few dollars off.
