I called this morning to try and get some information, the person who answered the phone was very unprofessional and rude. Would not even let me get the question out and he stated telling me that he has been working with insurance for so long that he has forgot his manners. I called him with someone else who is a current customer and she was surprised at this attitude. I told her she might not want people like this handling their insurance. Whenever I have needed anything form Consumers regarding my insurance, they have provided it quickly. Once I was having my car inspected and needed proof of insurance. I called and someone from Consumers sent it over immediately.
Friendly agent took the time (on a late afriday afternoon, no less) to explain our home and auto policies, where we could make adjustments, and answered our questions using easy words (instead of legal jargon).
My experience working with Timothy Colistra was outstanding - I had a million questions on for both Home and Auto and he expertly walked me through everything. Very knowledgeable and exceptional customer service experience; I highly recommend!
I was very happy with my interactions with Consumers Insurance. I spoke to Tim Renard and he answered all the pertinent questions I had. He called the next day with a great quote from Erie Insurance for the same coverage I had with another company. Two people recommended that I call Consumers Insurance Agency. I'm glad I did!
