I would not recommend Riley insurance for a variety of reasons. I received a friend request on my personal page from one of the Riley's after opening our policy with them, which I thought was weird and inappropriate on a professional level. Additionally, I did not find them trustworthy as agents I paid for a service. Communication was severely lacking, especially during the claims process. Here’s my email to their company after being kicked off after one accident- I’ve been paying them for insurance for YEARS. Hi, I would like confirmation that my renters insurance with your company has been cancelled effective yesterday, March 12, 2025. While it would be unethical to discuss any specifics of your situation publicly, there are rules that insurance companies must follow to protect the consumer. Auto policies cannot be nonrenewed with only one accident in a three-year period. There has to be at least two at-fault accidents during that time. They are also obligated to notify the insured sixty days in advance of the nonrenewal. These steps were followed in this case.
